For one of the most beautiful cocktail rooms in Bangkok, head up to BKK Social Club inside the Four Seasons on the Chao Phraya River. It sits at No.19 on Asia's 50 Best Bars 2025 and No.49 on The World's 50 Best Bars 2025, and it holds the Art of Hospitality Award for the way it looks after every guest. The space channels the golden age of Buenos Aires: soaring arches, a towering mirrored back bar, warm gold lighting and greenery tumbling from the chandeliers. Walk in and it feels like stepping onto a vintage film set that someone made impossibly luxe.

The bar is led by Philip Bischoff, a Berlin native who ran drinks at Manhattan in Singapore before this. The drink people talk about most is the Hand of God, which folds tequila, malbec and Campari into one balanced glass. The newest menu turns toward Mexico, split into sections called People, Places and Parties, with a Mezcal Negroni built on pineapple-infused Campari and a Frida Kahlo-inspired sour that plays sour, salty, sweet and bitter against each other. It rewards both seasoned cocktail drinkers and anyone just starting to explore the good stuff.

Cocktails start from around 550 THB a glass, with spirit bottles from about 4,900 THB. Book ahead, especially on weekends. Getting there is easy: take the BTS to Saphan Taksin and hop the cross-river ferry, or use the hotel's free shuttle boat from ICONSIAM. Dress smart-casual to match the room, settle in with a drink by the water, and the riverside view at night makes it clear why this bar has stayed near the top of Asia's list for years.
