Before the ranking, here's the honest layout: Buriram's town-center cafes are very close together — many are just a few minutes' drive apart. The places around Chang Arena sit only about 4–5 km from town, so they're an easy stop on the way to a game. This list focuses on places with a real storefront, open for a while, with a steady stream of genuine reviews. We've split it into three groups — serious coffee shops in town · photo-friendly cafes · and spots around Chang Arena. All prices are rough ranges, so check the cafe's page again before you go, since hours and menus change often.
For serious coffee — in Buriram town
If you've come to Buriram and want a properly good cup, the town center has several places that take their beans and brewing seriously. Many offer both espresso drinks and pour-overs, so you can order to your own spec.
unbox.project cafe
A two-floor minimalist cafe in town, and one of the spots serious coffee people talk about most. There's a rotating selection of beans, including Ethiopian, plus cakes and baked goods made in-house and nicely presented. Good if you want serious coffee in a relaxed, low-key setting.
Earth Coffee & Community
A white, minimalist place with an indoor garden zone for relaxed seating. The draw is the range of drinks — coffee, hojicha, and cocoa — and there are plenty of photo corners. Locals use it as a meeting spot and a place to get work done; the space feels open and easy.
Jamsai Brewing Space
A warm, cozy cafe in the Nong Paep area of town. There's a big drinks list — matcha, coffee, milk-based menus — and they sell beans too. What sets it apart is the little activities, like DIY keychains and a flower corner, so it suits both coffee people and anyone who wants something fun to do.
TREEORTHREE.coffee
A glamping-styled cafe in town — it feels like sitting in a tent in the forest, but with air conditioning. The most-ordered items are the soft cheesecake, Thai tea, and coconut pudding. Prices are friendly, and it's a good pick if you want something different from the usual minimalist spots.
Tip for coffee people
Buriram's town cafes are very close together — just a few minutes' drive apart. If you want to try several in one day, start with the early openers like unbox or Earth, then move on to the later ones. Some of the smaller places have limited seating and get busy on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, so going before noon is more comfortable.

For photos — good vibes and pretty corners
If your goal is a good shot for the feed and a comfortable place to sit, Buriram has several cafes that put real thought into their photo corners — from Japanese-style spots to places with gardens and a small artificial waterfall.
Bansai Cafe
A clean, simple minimalist cafe in town with the full lineup — coffee, bubble tea, and bakery. The clean styling makes it easy to photograph, and it's a nice spot to relax in the afternoon. It opens early at 7am; weekdays close in the evening, while weekends run later.
Cher Cafe
A cafe with a natural garden zone — there's the sound of an artificial waterfall and fish swimming in a pond. It's shaded, cool, and a nice break if you want to swap the white minimalist look for some greenery. The photo corners lean toward garden and water.
La Paz Cafe
A white-brown-cream cafe in a Japanese minimalist style, with good natural light that makes for nice photos. It's known for soft cakes and on-trend drinks, at prices that aren't expensive — good if you like clean, simple corners.
Around Chang Arena — stop before or after the match
Chang Arena sits just outside town, about 4–5 km to the east, near Khao Kradong. On match days the area around the stadium gets packed. If you want a spot to rest before heading in, or somewhere to wait out the traffic after the final whistle, the cafes in this zone work better than diving back into town.
SUNBAKED
A newer cafe in a white minimalist design, about 1.5 km from the lane beside Chang Arena — an easy stop before heading into the stadium. The popular orders are the croffle, tiramisu, and drinks like Matcha Yuzu Soda. There's both indoor and outdoor seating.
Khao Kradong-area cafe
Along the foot of Khao Kradong on the way to the stadium, there's a chic minimalist cafe with both indoor and outdoor zones, serving americano and a range of desserts. The plus is its location near both Khao Kradong temple and the stadium, so you can sightsee and sip coffee in one loop.
L TWIN Cafe
A small, quiet cafe by a canal, in town on the route heading toward Chang Arena. It's a good place to duck away from the match-day chaos for a bit. Coffee starts around ฿80. We close out the list with a small, quiet spot where seating is comfortable and you won't have to fight for a table.
On match days at Chang Arena
On days when Buriram United plays at home, traffic around the stadium gets heavy in the 1–2 hours before kickoff. If you're stopping for a cafe, finish up at the stadium-zone spots before the crowds pour in, then walk or drive the rest of the way to the ground. After the final whistle the cafes near the stadium fill up fast — if you're not in a hurry, it's more comfortable to wait for the traffic to thin before you head out.
Why Buriram cafes are worth a stop
What sets Buriram cafes apart from the big tourist towns is that they're still not as packed, the seating is comfortable, and the prices aren't steep. Many are run by younger locals who came back to open up in their hometown, so they put real care into both the coffee and the atmosphere. Getting around is easy too — the town is small, so driving from one side to the other doesn't take long.
- Friendly prices — most coffees run around ฿55–130 a cup, cheaper than cafes in the big tourist towns.
- Sightsee and sip in one loop — the cafes around Khao Kradong and the stadium are near the sights, so they fit neatly into the route.
- Town cafes are walkable to each other — the town is small, and many cafes are just a few minutes' drive apart, making a cafe-hopping trip easy to plan.
