Nong Nooch Tropical Garden sits about 20 km from central Pattaya, on the road toward Sattahip. It's a private botanical garden that's been open for years and keeps expanding. The draw is the row of themed gardens, all trimmed to perfection, plus a Thai culture and elephant show, and a dinosaur valley that kids love. It works well for families, couples, or anyone who's there for the photos.
Tickets and opening hours
The garden is open daily 08:00–18:00. There are several ticket types, from garden entry only up to combo tickets that include the show and a sightseeing tram. The prices below are approximate — they're often cheaper during promotions, so it's worth checking the official website or a booking platform before you go, since Thai and foreign visitors are charged different rates.
- Garden entry (adult) — around ฿500 during promotions (฿600 standard)
- Garden entry (child, 90–140 cm tall) — around ฿380
- Garden + culture & elephant show combo — added on top of garden entry as a package
- Garden + sightseeing tram combo — packages that include the tram around the grounds, so you don't have to walk the whole thing
Buying ahead is cheaper
The price at the counter is usually higher than booking online, and Thai visitors should bring their ID card — there's a Thai rate that's noticeably cheaper than the foreigner rate.

Booking online ahead on Klook or GetYourGuide is usually cheaper than the gate and skips the queue. Pick only the experiences you actually want — prices and availability are shown live on each site.
Culture and elephant show times
The show is the highlight most people come for. It packs Thai cultural performances, traditional dance, Muay Thai, and a clever elephant act into the same arena. There are 4 show times a day, so plan your timing to avoid missing it.

Arrive before showtime
Get into the arena about 15–20 min early. The front seats fill up fast, especially on weekends and when tour groups arrive. If you want a clear angle for elephant photos, give yourself extra time.
Themed gardens and photo spots
The heart of Nong Nooch is its set of themed gardens, all kept immaculate. Each zone photographs differently, and you can wander at your own pace or take the tram around if you'd rather not walk.
French Garden
Shrubs trimmed into mirror-image symmetry with a fountain at the center — the single most popular photo spot here.
Stucco & Stonehenge Garden
Stonehenge-style stone replicas and stucco work make for unusual photos — good for anyone after a less-common angle.
Cactus Garden
A greenhouse holding hundreds of cacti and succulents — shaded and easy to walk even when the sun is harsh.
Sky Walk viewpoint
An elevated walkway with a 360-degree view over the themed gardens — you can see the garden patterns far better than from the ground.
Dinosaur valley
The dinosaur valley is the zone kids love most. Large dinosaur models are spread along the paths and across the lawns, and several of the big ones are done convincingly — fun to photograph and easy to stroll through as a family. It's the part that sets Nong Nooch apart from an ordinary themed garden.
It's big — set aside a day
Nong Nooch is huge, and walking it all will wear you out. If you want to cover the gardens, the show, and the dinosaurs, plan for half a day to a full day, and consider a ticket that includes the sightseeing tram.
How to get to Nong Nooch

- Songthaew / taxi — you can charter one, but agree on a round-trip price clearly before you get in
- Half-day tour — packages with hotel pickup and drop-off in Pattaya, entry included; good if you'd rather not drive
