Pattaya Water Parks
A Full Day of Splashing with the Family

Pattaya has one of the highest concentrations of water parks in Thailand, and they're the kind of place where you can easily lose a whole day with the kids. Whether it's Cartoon Network Amazone with its cartoon theming, Ramayana Water Park (the largest in Thailand), or Frost Magical Ice of Siam — an air-conditioned snow town — we've rounded up the ones actually open right now, with prices, hours, and tips for making it worthwhile with little ones.

🔄 Updated 21 Jun 2026

If you're coming to Pattaya with kids, a water park can make the whole trip easier. Chonburi is hot for most of the year, and spending the day in cool water is a win for kids and adults alike. Most of Pattaya's main water parks sit on the south side of the city, around Jomtien and Na Jomtien, about a 20–30 minute drive from central Pattaya. We've gathered the three places families actually go, with an honest take on who each one suits.

Pattaya Water Parks Families Actually Visit

1

Ramayana Water Park (Na Jomtien)

Open daily except Wednesday, 11:00–18:00 (last entry around 16:00)

The largest water park in Thailand, with a huge footprint, more than 20 slides from Canada's WhiteWater, a long beachfront wave pool, a 600-metre lazy river that floats you on a tube through caves and waterfalls, and several separate zones for little kids. This is a genuine full-day place — there's so much to do you won't get through it all even if you walk around all day.

Adults around THB 1,190 · children (91–120 cm tall) around THB 890 · kids under 106 cm often free (check on site)
2

Cartoon Network Amazone (Jomtien)

Open daily, 10:00–19:00

The world's first Cartoon Network–themed water park, split into zones based on cartoons kids know, with a range of slides and water rides. The highlight is the Cartoonival zone — a shallow splash-pad plaza where little kids can run around without the water getting deep, so parents can keep an eye on them easily. A solid pick if your kid loves the characters and you want bright, colourful surroundings.

Frost Magical Ice of Siam (Na Jomtien)

Open daily, roughly 09:00–18:00 (check session times on site)

Not a water park, but an air-conditioned ice and snow town kept around -10°C, with ice sculptures, an ice slide, and a snow zone where kids can throw snowballs. Good to slot in as a half-day activity when you want to escape the heat, or to pair with a water park on the same trip. Plan on roughly 1.5–2 hours.

Which one suits whom

If you're staying all day and want the most to do, go for Ramayana · if your kids are still small and love the characters, go for Cartoon Network Amazone for its many shallow zones · and keep Frost as a half-day add-on for when you want to get out of the heat — it's not a place to swim.

Ramayana Water Park — The Largest in Thailand

Ramayana is in Na Jomtien, about 20 km from central Pattaya. It's so spacious you'll want to budget extra time just for walking. What families love is the wave pool with its long sandy beach, the 600-metre lazy river that floats you through caves and waterfalls on a tube, and the several separate little-kid zones — including wide kids' slides parents can ride down together with their children.

  • Wave pool — long sandy beach, waves rolling in on a rhythm; great for older kids, while little ones play in the shallow edge
  • 600-metre lazy river — drift on a tube through caves and waterfalls; a nice way to rest your legs in the afternoon
  • Little-kids' zone — shallow pools, low slides, big tipping buckets, safe for young children
  • Big slides — over 20 of them at various thrill levels, for teens and adults

Ramayana tips

Closed every Wednesday — don't make the drive for nothing · it's huge and the sun is intense, so reapply sunscreen every 2 hours; a long-sleeve rash guard helps a lot with kids · children 106–122 cm must wear a life vest and have an adult with them on the slides.

Cartoon Network Amazone — A Cartoon-Themed Park for Kids

Cartoon Network Amazone is in the Jomtien area, the world's first Cartoon Network–themed water park, with zones built around cartoons kids recognise. What parents of small children love is the Cartoonival splash plaza, where the water stays shallow so kids can run around safely and parents can watch easily. Older kids and teens get their share of thrill slides too, and the bright, colourful setting is fun to photograph.

  • Cartoonival zone — shallow splash plaza with tipping buckets at set times; little kids love it
  • A range of slides — from gentle tube rides to steep drops for thrill-seekers
  • Wave pool and pool bar — a spot for adults to relax, plus food zones inside the park
  • Price bundles — the Super Value package includes food and a locker, usually better value than buying separately

Cartoon Network tips

Foreigner ticket prices are higher than the Thai rate — bring a Thai ID card or driving licence to get the Thai price · lockers and food inside the park cost more than outside, so a bundle bought ahead of time is usually better value.

Frost Magical Ice of Siam — Escape the Heat in a Snow Town

Frost isn't a water park but an air-conditioned ice hall kept around -10°C, with ice sculptures, an ice slide, and a snow zone where kids can build and throw snowballs. It works well as a half-day activity on days when the sun is too fierce to stay outside, or paired with Ramayana, which is nearby in Na Jomtien. Around 1.5–2 hours is plenty.

Frost tips

It's very cold inside, so plan ahead for little kids or older relatives who don't handle cold well. The ticket includes a coat, but gloves and boots sometimes need to be rented separately · you won't be swimming, so wear normal clothes — no swimsuit needed.

A 2-Day Pattaya Water Park Plan

If you're with the family and want to make the most of the water, here's an unhurried two-day plan. It leaves room for breaks and meals, so it won't wear the kids out.

Day 1

A full day at Ramayana

10:00
Leave your Pattaya hotel and drive/take a car to Na JomtienAllow 30–40 minutes; avoid Wednesdays when it's closed
11:00
Enter Ramayana, starting with the kids' zone and wave pool before the sun gets harshPut sunscreen on the kids before they get in the water
13:00
Break for lunch inside the park, then float the lazy river in the afternoonThe lazy river is shadier — good for peak-sun hours
16:00
Pack up, shower, and head back to the hotel to restKids usually nap hard after a full day in the water
Day 2

Cartoon Network + Frost

10:00
Enter Cartoon Network Amazone in Jomtien, starting at the Cartoonival zoneLittle kids can play in the shallow water comfortably in the morning
13:00
Have lunch and head out of the water parkA food bundle makes this more convenient if you bought one
14:30
Stop at Frost Magical Ice of Siam to escape the heat and play in the snowHalf a day is enough; kids love the snowball zone
16:30
Head back into town and find dinner around JomtienA relaxed way to wrap up the trip

Preparation and Safety

  • Watch your kids at all times — water parks have lifeguards, but they don't replace a parent's attention; keep little ones within arm's reach
  • Life vests — keep them on any child who isn't a strong swimmer; parks lend them out, just ask at the service point
  • Sun protection and water — the Chonburi sun is strong, so reapply sunscreen every 2 hours and have everyone sip water often to avoid heat exhaustion
  • Valuables — rent a locker for your phone and wallet; don't leave them at the poolside
  • Check the weather — during heavy rain or thunderstorms, parks may close the slides temporarily, so plan for it

An honest note on prices

Walk-up ticket prices at Pattaya's water parks tend to be high, and they shift with the season and long holidays. The prices here are rough ranges — check the official website or a booking app again before you go. Online tickets are often cheaper than buying at the gate, and at many parks small kids get in free if they're under the height limit.

One more thing worth knowing: Pattaya has several nightlife districts. If you're travelling with kids, it's better to stay around Jomtien or Na Jomtien, which are quieter and closer to the water parks. Enjoy the nightlife sensibly, keep an eye on your valuables, and don't accept anything from strangers — that way you can have fun with peace of mind.
