Our Full Review

Hilton Pattaya opened in 2010 atop the CentralFestival Pattaya Beach complex on Beach Road — the tower rises 34 floors and all the guest rooms start from floor 19 up. That means whichever room you land in, you're looking straight out to sea: no city-view rooms, no parking-lot outlook like so many in-town hotels. This is the thing guests rave about most — drawing the curtains in the morning to the full curve of Pattaya Bay.

All 304 rooms start at Deluxe size, around 40 sqm, each with a balcony and an ocean view. The look is clean and modern in warm tones, with comfortable beds and a separate shower. Many reviewers note the rooms feel more spacious than expected for a city-centre hotel, and they're quiet once you close the balcony door. Book an Executive room or higher and you get access to the Executive Lounge, with complimentary snacks and drinks through the day — a feature that draws a lot of praise for its views and service.

Hilton Pattaya's infinity pool looking out over Pattaya Bay

"Open the curtains in the morning to the whole bay, ride the lift down for lunch in the mall, head up to the rooftop for a cocktail at night — it's all in one building."

The heart of the hotel is the infinity pool on the 16th floor, where the edge seems to spill into the sea. It's ringed by gardens and timber decks for sunbathing, opening out to the bay. In the late afternoon it becomes a favourite sunset photo spot. One honest note from real reviews: the pool gets busy in high season and on weekends, and sun loungers fill up fast — if you want a good one, head down early.

Hilton Pattaya's bar and lounge area with sea views at dusk

Dining is well covered in-house. There are five restaurants, from Edge serving international buffets and breakfast to Horizon Rooftop Restaurant & Bar on level 34, a rooftop bar with 270-degree bay views and an Infinity Bar for sunset cocktails. Breakfast at Edge earns praise for variety and the sea view, though some recent reviews mention queues for a table at peak times. Ride the lift down a few floors and you're in CentralFestival's food zone with hundreds more options, so finding a meal is never an issue.

A modern restaurant at Hilton Pattaya overlooking Pattaya Bay

Location is the headline. You're in the middle of Central Pattaya Beach on Beach Road — an elevator down to CentralFestival mall and the sand just across the street. Walking Street is about a 15–20 minute walk, or a quick songthaew ride. Restaurants, malls, markets and nightlife are all within walking distance. The trade-off: this is a lively area with noise from Beach Road and the nightlife at night. Lower or road-facing rooms may catch some of it, but since rooms start from floor 19, most guests aren't bothered.

Honestly, Hilton Pattaya suits travellers who want both luxury and city-centre convenience in one place. Rates start around ฿4,500/night on low-season weekdays, climbing to ฿6,000–8,000+ on weekends and in high season, with standout suites reaching the high teens of thousands. If you're after a quiet private-beach resort, this isn't it — but if you want to wake up to the sea, walk to the mall and beach, then come back for a rooftop cocktail in the same tower, Hilton Pattaya pulls it off better than anything else in this part of town.

Honest Take
🎯
This place is a great fit if...
Hilton Pattaya is the best-balanced luxury pick for travellers who want both sea views and city-centre convenience — every room faces the sea, an elevator reaches the mall and beach, and there's a sky pool and rooftop bar in the same tower. Just accept that it isn't cheap, and Central Pattaya is a lively area with noise at night.
💡 Check before you book
These 3 points matter to some travellers — make sure they fit your trip (we have added the workaround).
  • 💡If you want a quiet, private-beach resort — this sits in the city centre above a mall and nightlife, not a tranquil setting → look at InterContinental or Veranda Na Jomtien instead.
  • 💡If you're on a tighter budget and don't need an ocean view in every room — rates start higher than typical Central Pattaya hotels → Holiday Inn Express or Somerset in the same area offer better value at a lower price.
  • 💡If you're visiting in high season or over a long weekend — the pool and breakfast get crowded and rates climb fast → book ahead and hit the pool early to claim a lounger.

Insider Tips
🌅
Ask for a high floor on the bay
Every room has a sea view, but the higher you go the more of the bay's curve you see — request floor 25 or above for the standout view.
🍸
Go up to Horizon at sunset
The level-34 rooftop bar is at its best in the early evening — arrive before sundown to grab a seat right on the bay-view edge.
🏊
Hit the pool early on weekends
The infinity pool gets busy in high season and loungers fill up fast — get down before 9am for a good spot at the pool edge.
🛍️
Use the direct lift to the mall
The hotel connects to CentralFestival by elevator — head down for meals, shopping or a movie without stepping into the sun.

Frequently Asked Questions — Hilton Pattaya

Where is Hilton Pattaya and what's nearby?
Hilton Pattaya sits atop the CentralFestival Pattaya Beach complex on Beach Road, right on Central Pattaya Beach. An elevator inside the tower reaches the mall, and the sand is just across the street. Walking Street is about a 15–20 minute walk, Terminal 21 around 10 minutes by car, and U-Tapao Airport (UTP) roughly 40 minutes away.
How much does Hilton Pattaya cost and what rooms are there?
Rates start around ฿4,500/night for a Deluxe Ocean View on low-season weekdays, climbing to ฿6,000–8,000+ on weekends and in high season. Options range from Deluxe and Executive (with Lounge access) up to Family Ocean Suites and Prestige Suites. Always compare a few platforms before booking.
Do all rooms at Hilton Pattaya really have ocean views?
Yes. All 304 rooms are on floors 19–34 and every one faces the sea with a private balcony — no city-view or parking-lot rooms. The higher the floor, the more of the Pattaya Bay curve you see, so request floor 25 or above if you want the standout view.
Who is Hilton Pattaya best for?
It suits couples, families and anyone wanting both sea views and city-centre convenience — an elevator to the mall and beach, with nightlife within walking distance. If you'd rather have a quiet private-beach resort, look at InterContinental or Veranda Na Jomtien instead.
What is the Horizon Rooftop Bar at Hilton Pattaya like?
Horizon Rooftop Restaurant & Bar is on level 34, a rooftop bar with 270-degree Pattaya Bay views and an Infinity Bar for sunset cocktails and the night skyline. It's one of the most praised features in reviews, and the early evening before sundown is when the view is at its best.
Is Hilton Pattaya noisy from the nightlife?
Central Pattaya is lively, with noise from Beach Road and the nightlife at night. But because guest rooms start from floor 19 up, most guests aren't bothered. If you're sensitive to noise, ask for a high floor and keep the balcony door closed at night.
