The current menu, In Pursuit of the Firefly, tells the story of the firefly across four chapters: Etymology, Ecosystem, Luminescence and Mythology. Each glass leans on Thai and regional ingredients handled with real craft. Blue Moon blends Michter's American Whiskey and Rye redistilled with Sri Sindhorn tea, peach, blue spirulina and Lustau Amontillado for a smooth, gently fruity pour. Journey to Amphawa nods to the riverside town famous for its night-time firefly displays, built on Phraya Rum 8 Years with soft aromatics, while Where Is The Cricket captures the firefly's three body parts working as one. The bartenders build creative drinks from local produce, and the service is attentive without being formal.
Getting there is easy: take the BTS to Ploenchit or Chidlom, then a short ride or walk into Soi Ton Son to the Sindhorn Kempinski. The bar runs 5pm to 1am and suits a date night or a small group catch-up. Booking ahead helps, especially on Friday and Saturday when the jazz is in full swing.
