People like to drive down for the seafood, pick up shrimp paste and fish sauce to take home, then catch a boat out to Koh Samet to laze on the sand. If you want an easy trip, wander the Yom Chinda old town, try some noodles, stop at a cafe, and carry on to the coast at Ban Phe or the river mouth at Pak Nam Prasae.
