FAQ

Where should I stay in Korat?

For a first visit, the city center around the Ya Mo Monument and Night Bazaar is best — walkable for food and sights, with rooms for every budget. For shopping and newer hotels, choose the Terminal 21 area on Mittraphap Road.

For Khao Yai, stay in Korat or Pak Chong?

If Khao Yai is your main goal, Pak Chong is better — close to the park entrance, cafés and vineyards. Korat city is about 1.5 hours away, better if you want the city itself or are continuing into Isan.

How many days in Korat?

One to two days covers the city temples, the Ya Mo shrine and the food. Many use it as a base before Khao Yai, Phimai or onward Isan trips; allow 3–4 days if you include Khao Yai.
