Hotels near Siriraj, by distance & budget
Ekanake Hostel
A tiny hostel on Arun Amarin Road about 450 m from Siriraj, with dorm beds from 350 baht plus private rooms. Good if you're here alone to sit with a patient and want to spend as little as possible. There's a small in-house cafe, and a 7-Eleven and street stalls are a short walk away.
Icon Hostel
On Soi Wang Lang 8 in the Banchanglor lane, around 450 m from Siriraj, with family rooms that have private bathrooms. Its standout is free parking, which is rare around here. If you're driving and travelling as a group, it's more practical than most hostels in the area.
Wang Lang Hostel
Right in the middle of the Wang Lang–Siriraj zone, a few minutes' walk to the wards and to Prannok pier. Rooms are private with air-con, a TV and an en-suite bathroom. The plus is stepping straight out into Wang Lang Market food; the trade-off is daytime crowds and no parking.
Uncle Loy's Boutique House
A boutique guesthouse in an old building near Wat Rakang by the river, about a 2-minute walk to Wang Lang Market and 5 minutes to the pier, roughly 700 m to Siriraj. It scores very highly for warm hosts and a Thai-style breakfast. A good pick if you're here for a patient but want something cosier than a hostel.
Kaya Heritage Hotel
A 65-room hotel in Bangkok Noi about 700 m from Siriraj, with an outdoor pool and an in-house cafe. What sets it apart is a free shuttle to Siriraj and to Fai Chai MRT station (limited time slots — check with the hotel). A solid choice if you want a proper hotel that's still within walking distance of the wards.
Baan Wanglang Riverside
A riverside boutique hotel on Soi Wat Rakang off Prannok Road, between Siriraj and Wat Rakang piers, about 600 m from Siriraj and a 5-minute walk to Prannok pier. Rooms have air-con, a fridge and river views in some units. Couples rate it highly for the location and the views, and there's an on-site restaurant.
Theatre Residence
An 85-room 4-star hotel on Soi Wat Rakang off Arun Amarin Road, converted from the former Patravadi Theatre, with an outdoor pool. It's about 750 m from Siriraj and sits in a quieter lane than Wang Lang. Reviews praise staff for help with transport. The most upmarket option in this area.
