Pattaya works as both an overnight trip and a Bangkok day trip. Its top attractions cover three distinct styles — cultural architecture, nature and gardens, and sea and islands. Nearly all of them offer online ticket booking, which saves you from queuing at the gate and often gets you a better price. Pick what matches your interests and how much time you have.
Which Attraction Suits You?

Entry Prices & Key Things to Know
Sanctuary of Truth entry is around 500 THB (Klook often gets you a lower price). Open 08:00–18:00 daily. The interior is under continuous construction and restoration, so visitors must wear the hard hat / safety helmet provided and dress modestly covering shoulders and knees (sarongs are available to borrow). Koh Larn (Coral Island) is a short boat or speedboat ride from Pattaya — the beaches are great for swimming and snorkeling. If you're coming from Bangkok as a day trip, choosing a tour that includes transport saves the most time, since Pattaya is about two hours away.
💡 Tips to Get the Most Out of Pattaya
Skip the gate queue and often pay less — check opening times and entry schedules for each attraction before you go.
Cover shoulders and knees, and you must wear the hard hat / safety helmet provided — the building is under ongoing restoration.
The early boat has calmer water and fewer crowds. Allow enough time to swim and get back before evening.
Pattaya is about two hours away — a round-trip tour that includes pickup and drop-off saves time and is better value than arranging it yourself.
