Ha Yaek Lat Phrao is the junction where Phahon Yothin, Lat Phrao, and Vibhavadi Rangsit roads meet, and one of the few spots in Bangkok where the BTS (Ha Yaek Lat Phrao, Green Line) and the MRT (Phahon Yothin, Blue Line) cross. From here you ride straight to Siam, Asok, or Bang Sue Grand Station. The area is built around shopping and transit: CentralPlaza Ladprao is the main mall, with Union Mall across the road for cheaper, youth-focused shops. Chatuchak Park, the Railway Park, and Chatuchak itself are a short walk or one stop away, with the famous Chatuchak Weekend Market just up near Mo Chit. Hotels here cover a wide range, from hostels and small properties in the lower Lat Phrao sois to the Centara Grand wired directly into the mall. It's a good fit if you want an easy line-change location near the malls without staying in a tourist zone.

Ease Hostel

★★
Budget · solo travellers

A small, family-run hostel in the Lat Phrao area, about a 15-minute walk to CentralPlaza Ladprao and within reach of Phahon Yothin MRT. It has dorm beds and private rooms. Reviews are very high on cleanliness and the warm owners (one guest mentions being brought ginger tea and toast when feeling unwell). There's a breakfast corner and a water refill station. Worth knowing: soundproofing between rooms is weak, so you may hear hallway chatter at night. Good for budget travellers who want a warm, spotless base.
