Kaset–Nawamin is a university district in northern Bangkok, centred on Kasetsart University in Bang Khen. The streets around it are full of dorms, made-to-order eateries, coffee shops, and student-priced food along Phahonyothin and Ngamwongwan roads. The real draw is that rooms and meals cost far less than in the centre, while the BTS Green Line Kasetsart University station and nearby Central Ladprao still make it easy to reach downtown or Siam. For anyone flying into Don Mueang, it's also noticeably closer than the Sukhumvit side.

A small hotel of about 55 rooms in a soi near a Kasetsart University gate, an easy walk to the campus and street-food stalls. Good for budget travellers visiting the university or sightseeing cheaply.
The university's own lodge, located inside the Kasetsart campus, with spacious rooms at low rates. Reviews like the friendly, English-speaking staff and a decent breakfast selection.
