FAQ

Where and when is the Full Moon Party?

It is held at Haad Rin on Koh Phangan on the full-moon night each month (occasionally shifted around Buddhist holy days); rooms fill fast and prices rise on party nights, so book well ahead.

Where can I party but still have a nice beach?

Koh Samui (Chaweng) and Phuket (Patong) combine nightlife with a good beach in one place, while Koh Phangan outside Full Moon nights has quiet, pretty beaches in the north for relaxing.

Where is good nightlife near Bangkok?

Pattaya is closest, about a two-hour drive, with Walking Street and beach clubs, while Bangkok itself has rooftop bars and world-class clubs around Sukhumvit–Silom every night.
