🔄 Updated 2 Jul 2026
This is another historic year for Thai dining — Sühring was promoted to the country's second Three Star restaurant, joining Sorn, which has held the top spot since the previous edition. In total, the 2026 guide carries 43 starred restaurants, with 10 new entries and promotions this year. For value-driven eating, Bib Gourmand runs 137 restaurants deep, from roadside fish porridge stalls to century-old boat noodle shops.
We compiled this full list from the official announcement and the actual guide pages, restaurant by restaurant, including the Thai names for every Bib Gourmand entry. Found one you like? Head to the city deep-dive pages and tap 🔖 to save it to your plan.

🍽️ Bib Gourmand — 137 restaurants of great food at a fair price, by province
Bib Gourmand is the reason ordinary diners like us can follow the Michelin guide and enjoy it — inspectors look for good-quality food at an accessible price. This year adds 13 new restaurants (marked 🆕 in the tables), and several provinces have their own list for the first time. Thai restaurant names are included in parentheses, handy for searching further or telling a taxi driver.

▫️ MICHELIN Selected — another 305 restaurants that meet inspector standards
Beyond stars and Bib Gourmand, the guide also has a MICHELIN Selected tier (formerly called The Plate) — restaurants inspectors have actually eaten at and certified as meeting the standard, even without a top award. The 2026 edition launched with 288 restaurants, and Michelin has been adding more through the year, now standing at around 305. We keep following this list and will keep pulling out standout restaurants for the province-level pages.
How to book a starred restaurant in time
Most Three Star and Two Star restaurants open bookings roughly 1–3 months ahead through their own website or platforms like TableCheck, and Friday-Saturday dinner seats go first. The trick is a weekday lunch — a shorter course but a much lighter price. Most Bib Gourmand restaurants don't take reservations at all; just line up at opening time.
💡 Know this before you chase the Michelin trail
Bib Gourmand starts in the tens to low hundreds of baht per person. A street-food One Star like Jay Fai runs into the thousands. A Three Star tasting menu lands around 10,000+ THB. Set your budget first and choosing a restaurant gets a lot easier.
Many shophouse and street-food restaurants still only accept cash or PromptPay. Carry cash to be safe.
Famous spots like Jay Fai or well-known Bib restaurants can mean an hour-long wait. Arrive before opening time or avoid weekends to cut the wait significantly.
Most fine-dining restaurants ask for smart casual (no flip-flops or shorts). Bib Gourmand and Selected restaurants are come-as-you-are.
Michelin announces a new edition around late November each year, and adds Selected restaurants throughout the year — this page tracks the official announcements. Check the last-updated date at the top of the article.
